Gift Acceptance Policy

Summary:
Colton McBride Memorial, Inc. (CMM, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports suicide prevention in the name of Colton McBride. CMM, Inc. encourages solicitation and acceptance of gifts for the purpose of helping CMM, Inc. advance and fulfill its mission to aid in suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
1. Colton McBride Memorial, Inc. only solicits and accepts gifts that are consistent with its mission.
2. Donations will generally be accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations, foundations, government agencies, or other entities,
without reasonable limitations.
3. In the course of its regular fundraising activities, Colton McBride Memorial, Inc. will accept donations of money, real property, personal
property, stock, and in-kind services.
4. Certain types of gifts must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special liabilities they may pose for Colton McBride Memorial, Inc.,
Examples of gifts which will be subject to review include gifts of real property, gifts of personal property, and gifts of securities.
